ABOUT MY WORKS

My photography is mostly about landscape, I’ve been living on this beautiful paradise called the Vancouver Island where it’s natural beauty radiates off endless inspirations of seeing art, so I capture them with my camera.

I started taking serious photographs in 2016, got my first full frame DSLR that year and so lots of traveling, hiking, camping, waist deep in the creek, covered up in mud, washed clean by wave, getting all wet in the rain, staying up late for shot of Milky Way and early morning... It’s quite rewarding to see how I perceive photography as art comes to life and in my own works thru time.

If I have to pick a favorite subject, I would say I love photographing water, probably because of the many ocean sides and the waterfalls that this wonderful island had provided me with. I love seeing motions in the natural art of landscape, moving clouds, crushing waves, mystical waterfalls…the movements draw as well paint in time and space - a way for storytelling, as I find this is what gives a photographic art a “soul”.
